Thanks to a combination of events (mainly me spending almost a full week in Hoi An, then deciding ‘I CAN TOTALLY DO CAMBODIA IN THREE DAYS‘), I only got one day in Hanoi. This was… sad.

I did rather love it though; where Saigon is chaotic and feels totally modern, Hanoi is… still quite chaotic but more rooted in the country’s history prior to the war. Which is very nice, actually.
