Interesting factoid: this visit is the closest to China I have as yet been. Turns out we were so close you could practically see over the border. It was also very cold and I got there via a sleeper bus designed for nobody over 5’2″.

The return of Tina’s Definitely Not Insurance-Skirting Adventures On Motorcycles made most of these photos possible. Sapa and its surrounding areas cannot be done justice with words.
